Hey so I know I said I hoped to post tonight, but it’s just not ready. I’m close, but I’m getting really sleepy and I don’t want to rush anything just to finish and get it posted. It’s been a really long day already and it would be a few more hours before I finished and I just can’t tonight. Tomorrow though, guys. I’ll finish up and get it posted just as soon as I can after I get home from work.
Thanks for understanding and sticking with me. And let’s be honest, this update is coming a lot faster than the last couple. :)
Anonymous asked: A one shot questions. Were you thinking about writing Shelby being sick? Do you have any idea what age Rachel might be next time? Thank you for your stories! You are an AMAZING writer! Your stories feells like they are from real life so do you write something that has happened to you or do you just have an amazing mind?
I hadn’t thought about writing Shelby being sick. What did you have in mind?
The next one I write will feature a teenage Rachel (mostly). I also have two others in mind. The first would be when Rachel was around 8 or 9. The second would directly relate to that and I think Rachel would be 15.
I have a pretty good imagination, but some stuff comes from real life. I’m around a lot of kids and stuff like that. But a lot comes from me daydreaming and trying to put together stories in my head.
Thanks for your questions.
Anonymous asked: Any updates this week?
I think so. I was hoping to have something tonight, but I’m not finished with the chapter. I’m a little over half way there. I want to promise tomorrow, but I no better than to make that type of promise. But yes, this week. That’s the plan.
Anonymous asked: One shot this week?!?
I will write a one shot as soon as I finish this next chapter of SABRT. I’m about half way through with it. I’ve got an idea for what I hope will be a cute one shot. Thanks.
Anonymous asked: Thank you for your answers. I'm geting so excited for this sequel now! Have to admit that sabrt is starting to warm my heart too. Really enjoying the relationship that they are building. Hope to get a one shot too :) Sry but one more question. Is there a message in your cftb that you wanted readers to grasp? Sorry, but you really fascinate me and I want to know you more as a writer :)
Thank you so much! I’m glad you’re starting to enjoy She’s Always Been Right There. I worry that people aren’t liking it.
I will work on a one shot after this next chapter of SABRT.
Wow, umm. I don’t know if there was a message that I was writing towards, per se. I just really wanted to create the relationships in a realistic and interesting way. Characters opened themselves to people they never thought they would and that was kind of awesome to see and write. Life isn’t simple; it requires hard work and we shouldn’t write people off because it’s easier.
Thanks for your questions. Sorry about the delay in responding.
Anonymous asked: I actually loved that you showed Shelby being a "first" mom. Everything was new to her and I think you did an amazing job by writing every step of their relationship. It was all ups and downs but in the end what mattered was that they have each other no matter what. In sequel is there going to be some of their issues brought back again or do you consider them as 'healed'. There's gonna be some drama eh? :)
Thank you! I liked all of the first stuff too. I wanted Shelby to get to experience those things since she had missed so many other firsts.
I’m not sure if healed is the correct word. I don’t want to rule anything out. I don’t Rachel will think that Shelby is going to leave her, but I think as she continues to grow up, things will present themselves. Maybe they were there already and maybe they’re new. I’m being vague on purpose. I really don’t want to limit myself.
And of course there will be drama! I have an idea for where the story goes moving forward, but I’m excited too about showing some flashbacks. How do they handle Rachel moving away, for instance. Those moments will not be skipped. This way, though, I get to tell a broader range of the story. I really hope it’ll all work and that people will enjoy it.
Thanks for your question.
Ok, so I was a little late. But the new chapter has been posted. Please go and check it out and I hope you all like it. Thanks!
Anonymous asked: Aw, you! Rest! Play! No pressure! Unless you want pressure? If you want pressure... WRITE WRITE WRITE! ;)
It’s up! It’s up!
